Look at this we are heading into Week Three Of Lockdown
Thank you to everyone who has made contact with us over the last two weeks check in on how we are going and to ask for advice with your Hair. Some very funny stories and all the Memes so hilarious, so feeling the love .
I have to stay PLEASE WAIT FOR US
I know it is very tempting to go and get some colour to freshen your hair BUT please just hold off a little longer, remember we will be back soon and we will work extra hours and days to sort you all out I PROMISE. Also last week I did mention about NOT picking up a pair of Scissors just wanted to check in again with that. I have had a couple of people contact us that they did pick up the scissors, I am happy to report that they still have their two ears.
ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE
Over the last week, we have been working on a plan of how we are going to return to work so I want to explain how this COULD look, as we don't know when we will reopen. But what we do know is,................. We want YOU, Stacy, Alex, Hana, Shanae, Maryke and Myself to feel safe. Changes have been made and we have created a new business model that will sustain D'or, the team and our client's hair needs, while we are in this global pandemic. We have put into place extra strict sanitation procedures, we have expanded our research on the best practices and with that we have added new extra sanitation procedures.
NO Magazines, we will give you the WIFI password you can bring your own, or your book, New Cape for every Client, Sanitising every station after each client, are just some of the procedures. Strict no illness policy in the salon if you are sick at the time of your appointment please let us know and we will reschedule for you, if the stylist is unwell they also will not be able to work and we will need to reschedule your appointment.
We will be wearing masks and gloves I know this might look weird at first but it is just an extra measure of protection for both the client and stylist. We will have signage at the door for you wait there and we will come to you as there will be restrictions on the number of people required in the D'or Space so please be patient with this.
Level 4 we are all in LOCKDOWN
Level 3 we can do consultations for your appointments either on FaceTime, Zoom, and Phone and to hope to start making appointments. If YOU would like to do this PLEASE email us d-or@xtra.co.nz WE DO NOT THINK AT THIS LEVEL THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO TOUCH CLIENTS YET
Level 2 THIS IS WHERE WE WANT TO BE at this level we can start doing hair with firm guidelines from the government. We will have to minimise clients in the salon at one time. We are lucky to have a bigger space so we can keep you all in your special area of the salon. It is also recommended that if you are over 70 or are immunosuppressed that you don't visit the salon during Level 2 if this is a concern for you please contact us d-or@xtra.co.nz
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
I'm sure that this is on your mind a lot of you will already have bookings as you are all so amazing at booking in advance. Until we get to lockdown Level 3 and we have some idea when we can make bookings I think it is best to leave what you have in place already, we might need to change the times a little so we can create your safe space.
WE do want to reassure you all that we will be working 7 days and extra late nights to get you all sorted, because of the restrictions in place Stylists will all be working different hours so we can make it work, WE WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH YOU AT LEVEL 3.
Also if you have done anything with your hair over the lockdown period this is the time to PLEASE tell us it will be ok but it is very IMPORTANT, as we might need more time than usual for your appointment.
Some of you might need a lot of foil work done so if this is the case for you this is also the time to let us know. If you require more time please remember there might be an extra charge.
In the meantime if YOU are unsure if you have a future booking in place YOU can email d-or@xtra.co.nz please do NOT phone as we are NOT there to answer.
YOUR HOME CARE
In the meantime, if you need products also reach out we can help you with this as we are allowed to send products out to you by courier.
We also have an online shop which will be up and running the next few days https://www.dorhair.co.nz/ and you can order online NOT all the products are up on the site yet so if you can not see what you are needing email d-or@xtra.co.nz and I will send you an invoice for payment and get it sent out to you. I f you are unsure of what you are needed we can help with that as well just reach out.
You will see also on our online shop we have created Stay-Cation Boxes with a few extra treats that do have limited numbers so get in while you can. Again if you are unsure of what you will need please reach out. You will also notice that you can buy vouchers. We have created a couple of new ones THANK YOU and BE SAFE this idea is if you have someone in your life that you would like to send a Thank You to or a Be Safe thought you can. We will post this out. How amazing would it feel for someone to have a gift arrive in the mail.
We do have a NEW Kerastase Genesis range coming next month which is very exciting for all of us. We have been doing the education for this over the last few weeks. Talking over how diet, stress and hormones are the three biggest reasons for Hair Fall and Hair loss this gorgeous line of home-care can help with that unbalance.
